What are the opening hours?
We are open daily in Düsseldorf and Hamburg from 9 am - midnight.
Massage appointments can be made daily between 10 am - 10 pm.
The restaurant is open daily from 9 am - 11 pm. The kitchen closes at 10 pm.
Seasonal opening hours apply in Berlin:
Summer (Apr-Sep) 9 am - midnight
Winter (Okt-Mar) 8 am - midnight
Special Opening Hours: Düsseldorf is closed on April 3, 2025
Is parking available?
We have a car park for our guests directly in front of the spa. A car park ticket costs €2.50 per visit, regardless of the length of your stay at vabali spa. In Düsseldorf, a car park ticket costs €1.50.

What is included?
All admission rates include access to all facilities (saunas and steam baths, nap lounges, all pools and soaking tubs, our extensive garden areas), as well as access to our restaurant and massage department (charged separately).
Do I have to pre-book my entry?
You may pre-book online. Reservations are encouraged, especially on weekends, bank holidays, and during school breaks. Without a reservation, there may be considerable waiting times and even admission may be stopped due to limited capacities.

Can I book just a massage at vabali spa without buying an admission ticket?
No. Spa access is required for all massage treatments and will be charged separately (minimum rate of 2 hours). The duration of your treatment will be credited towards the duration of your stay.
Do you offer sales or discounts?
No. In order to maintain consistent rates, all guests are charged the same price.
Are there discounts for children, students, or other groups?
No. In order to maintain consistent rates, all guests are charged the same price. Children have access to our facilities from 12 years on when accompanied by their parents.
Do you offer monthly or annual subscriptions?
No, but we do have a buy 10 get 1 free deal.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard.
Do you have a restaurant?
Yes, our chefs have crafted a tasty menu inspired by the cuisines of Asia and the Mediterranean. Let us spoil you with a freshly prepared meal or a delightful snack.
Can I bring my own food?
No, please refrain from bringing your own food. Our restaurant offers a wide range of meals and light snacks. Please see our house rules for more information.
Is there a dress code for the restaurant?
Yes, please wear a bathrobe in our restaurant and lounge areas at all times.
Is smoking permitted?
Yes, you may smoke in designated outdoor areas only.
Can I use my mobile phone?
No, phones as well as any other camera-enabled and electronical devices are strictly prohibited and must be stored in your locker for the duration of your stay. Please see our sauna guidelines for more information.
Are there days exclusively for women?
No, but we do offer a separate ladies' locker area and an exclusive steam bath and sauna for ladies only.
Are there any age requirements?
Yes. Children must be at least 12 years old. Anybody under 18 must be accompanied by their legal guardian.
Dear parents, when planning your visit please consider the environment and atmosphere at vabali spa. As an oasis of rest and tranquility, we are unable to provide child-friendly facilities.
Is the vabali spa accessible to all?
Our wellness facilities are only accessible to a limited extent. We offer disabled parking spaces, toilets suitable for wheelchairs and a lift to the upper floor. However, most of our saunas and pools require steps to be climbed. We recommend a visit with an accompanying person.
Liability, lost and found
We cannot assume liability for any valuables or personal items, including those stored in your locker. Please return any found items to a member of staff. See our general terms of service posted in the reception area for further information.
How do vabali spa competitions work?
Vabali spa exclusively conducts competitions through its official website, newsletter (info@vabali.de I info@vabali-duesseldorf.de I info@vabali-hamburg.de), and social media platforms. Winner notifications are always sent in writing via the original competition channel, never by telephone. Each competition features comprehensive, publicly accessible legal terms. Participation conditions are published with complete transparency.
To safeguard against fraudulent contests, we recommend verifying the competition's and sender's authenticity. Only provide personal information when you are fully confident. Be assured that our competitions will never request payment or solicit banking details from participants.
Vouchers / Gift Certificates
How and where can I purchase gift certificates?
Vouchers can be issued and taken away directly at reception. However, they can also be ordered conveniently from home in our online shop. The purchaser can design and personalise the vouchers themselves. The vouchers are sent as a PDF by e-mail. Vouchers can also be ordered online and sent by post.

How do I order gift certificates online?
Simply navigate to Booking & Shop, where you can make your pick from our wide range of options.
How long does digital delivery take and what should I do if I do not receive my order?
We will send your order and invoice by email immediately after receiving it. If you do not receive a message within 5 minutes, please check your spam folder. You can contact us via email or phone for further assistance. Additional software may be required for displaying pdf documents, we recommend Adobe Reader.
When will I receive gift certificates ordered for mail delivery?
Please allow for 1-2 days for internal processing plus carrier handling and delivery. Consider digital delivery if you require a quicker option.
Are gift certificates and vouchers valid immediately?
Yes. Any orders placed with incorrect or fraudulent payment information will be cancelled immediately.
How long are gift certificates valid?
Three (3) years from date of purchase.
The validity of all gift certificates/vouchers is extended by one year until further notice.
Gift certificates/vouchers from promotional activities of vabali spa (competitions, raffles, etc.) are excluded from any extension.
Can gift certificates be used for other services?
No. If you are struggling to decide which one of our many options to choose, consider gifting a general voucher (Wertgutschein). These may be redeemed for all services we offer.
Can I cancel/return my order?
Yes, you may cancel your order for a full refund (postage charges are non-refundable) within fourteen (14) days of purchase. Please contact us via email to request a refund. We might ask you to verify purchase or account information.
Can I use my gift certificate at any vabali location?
Vouchers for cash amounts can be redeemed at all vabali spas.
Gift certificates for specific services are location-specific as all our locations operate as independent companies. Please select the location of your choice on our website.
Do I have to print out my voucher before my visit?
No. Vouchers that are available to you in digital form can also be brought to us on your smartphone. Please understand that we can only accept the original files (pdf) and no photos, screenshots or voucher numbers for redemption.

Do you sell body care products?
No. Complimentary shampoo and body wash dispensers are available in the shower rooms. Conditioner available in women’s showers only.
What is the general code of conduct?
Please help us maintain a peaceful and relaxing environment for all guests by familiarising yourself with and adhering to our sauna guidelines.
Can I reserve my lounger with a towel?
No. As a courtesy to other guests looking for a place to relax, we kindly request that you refrain from using towels or other objects to save your space. Our staff is instructed to clear unattended loungers.
Is the entire sauna facility textile free?
Yes. Swimwear is never permitted. We kindly request that all guests cover up with a towel or bathrobe outside of saunas and pools. Bathrobes are required in the restaurant and adjacent lounge areas.
When do you offer sauna infusion ceremonies?
You can attend a wide range of sauna ceremonies every 30 to 60 minutes. Timetables are posted conspicuously throughout the facility.

Am I dressed during massages?
As you like. Massages are free to be enjoyed with or without clothing.
Am I covered during massages?
Our qualified staff is trained to maintain the intimacy of our guests, which means that intimate body regions remain covered with a towel at all times during massages.
Do I have to bring my own towel to massages?
Fresh towels are available and ready for you to use. No need to organise your own towel, just enjoy!
Can I decide whether or not a man or a woman gives me my massage?
We value your preferences and strive to personalise your spa experience. Please feel free to share any specific requests or preferences with us in advance of your visit. While we do our best to accommodate your wishes, please understand that last-minute changes may be challenging due to our therapists' scheduled appointments. To ensure we can best serve you, we recommend making any special requests when booking your treatment.
Which massages do you recommend for pregnant women?
Expectant mothers have special needs and not all our massage treatments are suitable for them for health reasons. Therefore we recommend our customised Massage For Expectant Mothers which is designed specially for their needs. We would be pleased to advise you individually. Either by phone, email, or in person.
Are there any age requirements for massages?
Yes, the minimum age is 12 years. We would like to point out that we can only offer a massage treatment to underage guests in the presence of a legal guardian, as part of a double treatment in the same room.
What are contraindications for a massage treatment?
At the time of booking or at the latest before the start of the treatment, we would ask you to inform us of any contraindications that may change the treatment or make it impossible. These can be

Our massage therapists are very experienced and must be informed about any health restrictions you may have in order to be able to organise the treatment accordingly. Failure to provide information about contraindications may result in non-treatment or cancellation of the treatment. We assure you that all information will be treated discreetly and with the utmost confidentiality.
Hotel
Is there a hotel at every location?
No, only the vabali spa Hamburg has its own hotel.
Deposit
We require a deposit of €50 per room and night at time of booking. Chose the perfect date for your stay here.
Cancellations / Refunds
Cancel no later than the day prior to your planned arrival (11:59 pm) to receive the full value of your deposit as a vabali spa Hamburg gift card. Gift cards can be redeemed at the spa or used for a future hotel booking and are valid for three (3) years.
Same day cancellations and no-shows forfeit the deposit.
Check in and out
Check in begins at 3.30 pm, check out is at 11 am. Our DaySpa facilities are open from 9 am to midnight daily and are accessible to hotel guests before checking in as well as after checking out. Luggage lockers are available.
Food & Beverages
All room packages include a rich breakfast buffet including hot drinks. Our hotel restaurant is open for you until 10 pm and offers Asian and Mediterranean delicacies as well as international classics
Children
Dear parents,
vabali spa & hotel Hamburg is especially designed for a relaxing time out. Children are allowed to check in with us from the age of 12 accompanied by their legal guardians.
We do not have any child-friendly facilities neither in our hotel rooms, nor in our spa. Please consider whether your child will feel comfortable with us.
Packages
All room packages include a rich breakfast buffet including hot drinks. In addition to the basic package, we offer further packages including a spa stay and linen hire. Of course, you also have the option of booking a spa stay spontaneously on site.
Spa
If you have booked our basic package with bed and breakfast, you still have the option to use our spa facilities spontaneously. Large luggage lockers are available in the hotel area.
vabali spa is a textile-free facility. Therefore, please always refrain from swimwear and wear a towel or bathrobe after using our saunas and pools. Bathrobes are compulsory in our restaurant and in the adjacent lounge areas.
Massage
As a hotel guest, you also have the option of booking massages without using the spa. For this, we recommend booking an appointment in advance.
Fitness
As a hotel guest, you have exclusive use of a large yoga room and fitness area with Technogym equipment.
Gym/Yoga
As a hotel guest, you have exclusive use of our large yoga studio and gym with Technogym equipment.
Start your day with a complimentary yoga class: every Saturday and Sunday at 8 and 9.30 am in our yoga studio.

Sauna Guidelines
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with the following sauna guidelines. We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that vabali spa remains an oasis of peace and tranquility for you and all other guests. Kindly refrain from speaking in all saunas and nap lounges.
During your Stay
Please store all valuables in your locker before leaving the locker room. Phone use is permitted in the reception area only. To help ensure privacy, mobile phones and all other camera-enabled electronic devices are prohibited throughout the spa facilities. Please keep these in your locker at all times.
Vabali spa is a textile free environment, swimwear is not permitted. We kindly request that all guests cover up with a towel or bathrobe outside of saunas and pools. Bathrobes are required in the restaurant and adjacent lounge areas.
Please be courteous towards other guests and refrain from reserving loungers. Instead, you may deposit your belongings in one of our numerous storage cubbies. Our staff is instructed to clean up items left behind at unattended loungers so that all guests may easily find a place to relax.
Smoking is permitted in designated outdoor areas only. Seating is available.
Please limit physical displays of affection. Sorry, waterbeds and loungers may not be shared.
Our chefs have crafted a selection of delightful, freshly prepared meals and snacks. Except for water in non-breakable bottles, your own food and drinks are not permitted.
